I moved locally using Mountain Moves. I’ve moved several times in the last 5 years, and they were by far the best company I’ve worked with. They were fast, careful, nice!, provided a detailed estimate up front, and the final charges ended up being less than the estimate. I highly recommend them.

I am giving two stars only because the labour guys were extremely kind and friendly. They finished the job on time and with good care. John, Fabian and Carlos are awesome.
The booking person named Joseph was extremely unkind and rude, he messed up by sending a small truck and it added extra time to the whole process.
We could have finished everything in 7 hours but they charged me 3.5 hours extra because the truck was small and we had to go back and forth to load and unload twice.
This is not the customer service you expect when you are moving and it is unfair to charge the customer because of your own negligence.
I don't recommend using this service to anyone.
Their pricing is unreasonable and unfair.
Save your bucks and look for something else.

We had a great experience with Mountain Moves recently. They were reasonably priced and our two movers, Joseph and Alvaro, were friendly, quick and professional. With the two movers and a large moving truck they moved our 1 br apartment in just under 8 hours to another 1 br, all within the San Jose area. Highly recommend!

Mountain Movers came recommended to me by a professional packer I had hired. They were timely arriving and worked a long hard day for me. There was a home and storage unit on the move out and a home and new storage unit on the move in. This also included an approximate 2 hour commute each way between the different locations. They were organized and a well oiled machine at moving and coordinating a more complicated move. Not one broken item!!
