Locally this could be different, my experience was a multi-state move:
My experience was filled with anxiety, a slight mental breakdown, constantly having to ask for updates, low-balling initial estimate (I had to inventory myself as an untrained person) which started at ~$9,000 when we originally set it up, but the price went to ~$32,000 because of the amount of stuff we had (again, I am untrained and did my best to estimate the amount of stuff I had). We settled on ~$23,000 which I did not HAVE TO accept but really HAD NO OTHER OPTION this late in the move.
Regardless of the poor communication, confusion, tardiness, and a dispatcher who treated me honestly pretty poorly - I had surprisingly good packing operators on the front end and kind, good semi-truck delivering operators. They are what my two stars rest upon.

I found the customer service and dispatchers very professional.
Jasmine and summer did a great job putting up with my impatience.
The packers did a great job packing up furniture. The delivery truck unpacked Al the items and I had a lot. Paul was the driver. He was very polite put everything together and no broken items.
I would use this company again. You can be sure your furniture will arrive safely and on time. Thank you

Absolutely Relocation Services exceeded my expectations as a moving company. From start to finish, their team showcased professionalism and efficiency. I was particularly impressed by their foreman, Alex, who ensured that the moving process was seamless. He was organized, punctual, and had excellent attention to detail. Scammers. They quote 1 price then nearly double it on moving day. They don’t tell you options for insurance- replacement cost or pennies per pound which is in tiny print. Destroyed $1400. jewelry armoire & $279. Box springs but only paying .60 a pound for total of $33.24 replacement. The driver tore out power lines & snapped the power pole in half on a 106 degree day with heat index totaling 116 degrees. Try having no air conditioner on a day that hot. Absolute Relocation lied about the Insurance Co which is CSI. CSI is just an arbitration company not an insurance company they are useless as well. Look at the photos attached

If I could give them no stars I would.
They destroyed or lost my fine furniture and a lot of expensive personal items. They lied, the customer service is awful. If you’re smart, you’ll stay away from these idiots. They even lost the legs for my expensive solid, oak dining room table.
