Moving is stressful. The last thing you need is to hire a bad moving company.
I had a Great experience with LAP Movers.
After seeing hundreds of positive reviews,
I called and left them a message.
Jose responded back immediately by text and then phone. Throughout the process he patiently answered my laundry list of questions. He made me feel comfortable that I had made the right choice.
The cost was fair and actually less than most, especially since they supply tape and loan wardrobe boxes at no extra charge.
The movers showed up 10 minutes early on the scheduled date. They carefully checked the boxes I packed, and added tape (free with move) and plastic wrap ( that I supplied), as needed. They took down the TV's and shelves, securely taping all the screws and bolts to the items, (which was a lifesaver when reinstalling at the destination.) They worked with me in sorting the items going to storage, and those going to the new house.
They finished loading right on time.
Not one item was scratched or damaged in any way.
The only hiccup was their GPS routed them on a road with construction, causing a 20 minute delivery delay.The Manager adjusted the travel charge without issue.

Was seeking a specialized mover that could handle my heavy kitchen appliance (over 600 lbs!) move request and came across LAP. They were quick in responding and I was able to book them the same day. They were equipped with with all the proper tools and ramps making the job look easy. I’m told they move heavy odds/ends, appliances, pianos, safes etc all the time. Not only did their experience and professionalism show, they were careful to ensure my high-end appliance and floors were not damaged. Shout out to Jose and David for taking care of me!

Actually, went with this company twice in one week. First was because I knew I needed help with the refrigerator, washer and dryer, if the VA could be believed, I should have been able to get the rest myself. But after the wonderful experience I had the first time, they were so professional and respectful, it was amazing. The second time they showed up, it was not that I hired a great crew, but they made me feel that I had friends that were helping me. It is just that sometimes the echoes of Afghanistan makes it so that I can not get out of bed in the morning and this company was there for me, thanks!

Talk about a nightmare: LAP Movers acted on behalf of Trans Canada Movers to pack up my house in Palm Desert Ca. and ship up to Vancouver B.C. Canada. As the house was Vacant, we were stuck up in Canada. I arrange for a Written List of what we wanted shipped up to Canada. David their top Mover was incharge of the move. He didn't bother to bring the list and expected the person letting the movers in, to know what we wanted shipped. I told our Moving Company that the person letting in the Movers wasn't knowledgeable as to what we wanted shipped but just a friend who we gave a key to incase of emergencies.
End Result. David and his team, even after I spoke with him during the pack up and move and went over everything piece by piece as to what was to be moved. Didn't bother to follow my instructions and left behind close to $4,000.00 of items plus on purpose took our clothes out of the dressers and packed them in boxes. When he was told not to. In the end we lost half a vacuum cleaner, missing lamps, a bed, etc and for good measure got all the GARBAGE that we didn't ask for. Then for good measure he charged us $2,800.00 more than the original quote for the Garbage that we didn't want and the extra cubic feet . Thanks to padding the boxes. We were told to take them to court by Trans Canada Movers so that their Errors and Omissions Insurance would pay for their mistakes.Read more

Absolutely outstanding job! I used Lap Movers for moving my mom today. These guys are top notch!!! They were on time and truly great people. They were not only fast but they are professional and took excellent care of our belongings. I highly recommend Lap Movers for any move you have. I will be using them again for my own move in two weeks and will keep them for any move we have in the future as well as recommend them to any friends or family for their moves. Great job Luis and team!!
