Let me tell you all about our nightmare. We signed a contact with True Blue to move our home. Pickup date was June 16th, 2022. We have a 2500 sqft home along with a shed and garage. We paid for what they call the VIP packing pack. My wife is disabled and we needed our house packed. We were told, packing would commence the day before the actual loading of the furniture. In other words, moving day was the 16th and packing on the 15th. Anyway, the 16th arrives and we get a phone call from a place called Dependable Movers. Apparently they brokered us out. They refused to dispatch a truck until 5pm on the 16th. No one showed up to pack the house before hand. Dependable also was suppose to acknowledge and accept True Blues forms of payment. DEPENDABLE REFUSED ANY PAYMENT ONLY SAYING THEy'D ACCEPT VENMO OR zelle. Now we all know with Zelle it has daily limits, and each bank sets the limitations. Moving on from the payment mess, Dependable did not have anyone at our house until 6:15pm in the evening. Three men showed up, with a 26ft Uhaul truck. Yes, a uhaul truck with no lift and no equipment to accommodate the bulk items which True Blue charged us more for those items. Next, the 3 men saw the size of our home, and said why were we dispatched out on a 26ft truck? Then they looked at the dispatch information further and saw that we were moving 120 miles away.. The men said what? We are local drivers, we stay in the DFW area. We then picked up the phone to call True Blue, and there was no answer. The 3 men got in the truck and left! Yes, that's right, they left... We were dumb founded. We have a post possession agreement with our buyers, and had a deadline to be out of the house by 11:59pm on the 16th! When we finally got True Blue on the phone, they did nothing, they did zero. Jason, apparently a General Manager said he'll initiate our refund. Not just give it back, but quoted the full amount would be returned. He said we'd get it in 3 days. 3 days have went by and there's no refund. Furthermoore, True Blue did nothing to rectify the situation and left us in a huge compromising position. Please mind you the Federal Government has laws as well to protect consumers against failure to transport and for the movers to follow through with the move. As for a update with True Blue on our refund. What we found out was the following, they did not submit a full return of our deposit. They kept $300 of it. The customer care specislist refused to let us talk to Jason the Manger. She refused to return the other portion. She also said Jason would call us back. We doubt he will since they never call back. We made it clear, We will sue them for the money they kept, all court costs, stress and anxiety and even ask the court to compensate us for the additional costs we had to pay to find last minute movers. There's usually a 30% to 45% upcharge in situations like this, and there was. True Blue read our review here on google, they called us saying if we remove the review they would refund the additional $300 they were holding hostage from us. Sounds so legit right? Eventually, they gave us our money back. I'm begging you, please do not use them. Do not use True Blue or Dependable Movers out of NJ. It was a horrible experience, and the company tried to keep money of ours for no reason. They did nothing, and we were left stranded. Stay far, far, away.Read more

When we followed up with the delivery date, a totally different story was told. We were being told that they have up until 30 business days to deliver from the first delivery date that was given. Not only that, when you call to check on the delivery status you feel as if you’re begging. There’s no communication between the team. Different stories being relayed. It was so frustrating working with this company.
By the time our delivery was done. Our things we’re disassembled when they were moving us as it is part of the contract. At delivery, the guy told us “no” they’re not suppose to reassemble. They had a different company do the delivery. We had to be calling , back and forth with the movers to get them to reassemble. We only had a bed “partially” reassembled. Furniture were broken when we got them. Sofa that was wrapped on the day of moving was dirty, dented and torn at delivery.
A friend ask me to recommend the company I used to someone else and I said “no”, there’s no way I could recommend this company. This was one of the worst experience with moving, very tedious. It took 27 days for us to get our delivery. Worst experience ever and horrible customer service. We were scarred by this company. They let us feel as if moving your furniture was the worst decision, expensive and wasn’t worth it. When we got our delivery it made us feel as if we should have sold them instead of moving them. I’m still very upset.
When you call to complain about the condition of your delivery, the response is like “oh you have insurance on them”, there’s no empathy.Read more
