Getting move fright is normal in NYC especially being in a fast paced city where people bump from apartment to apartment. For me, I rarely vacate and leave my comfort zone - so moving itself can be terrifying. I needed to look for a local moving company in the tri-state area. Saw Born To Move NY's favorable reviews with such extensive positive experiences and I knew I made the right choice.
Worked with Afa, Jenya, and Vlad and they are the most courteous and professional movers I've worked with by far. They were extremely mindful about all of my stuff, made sure to respect the old home and new home destination without any damages, and were very upfront about how to protect each piece of my furniture. Even with the heavy items, these 3 guys powered through like such professionals as there was some items that can require a big group to handle. They also made the experience fun and lighthearted as moving can be tense too with all the running around to ensure everything is done. And these fellas deserve lots of credit because they helped transport a lot of stuff my family and I hoarded over the years.
Professional, lighthearted, very detail oriented, and powers through any moving jobs given to them. Huge shoutout to Afa, Jenya, and Vlad and to Born to Move NY. They won't disappoint you for sure if you're looking to move in the tri-state area.Read more

Best. Move. Ever. This was our second move with Born to Move. We did not think they could top the first one, but they did! Alex, Alex and Vlad are amazing! They completed the move so quickly and efficiently into our large luxury loft complex with elevators and hallways. No damage to our stuff or the building. We can’t thank Born to Move enough for the care they took with our move. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Moving can be an incredibly daunting task, but thanks to Born to Move, our recent move within Cambridge, MA turned out to be an absolute breeze! From start to finish, their exceptional service, professionalism, and efficiency impressed our entire family. I worked with Eugene and Alex. They helped me finish packing and moving all of my items.
The moving crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day, and right from the beginning, they demonstrated a high level of organization and preparedness. They took the time to assess the items that needed to be moved, ensuring that each piece of furniture and box was handled with care. The team was friendly, courteous, and always wore a smile on their faces, which immediately put us at ease.

We had an excellent experience with Born to Move. Dimitri and Juan were professional and efficient - they arrived on time, wrapped our items with incredible care and finished the job well within the time they expected! Everyone we spoke to at Born to Move was communicative and responsive- we were quoted a VERY fair price for a long distance job and there were no surprise fees the day of. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Born to Move! The booking process was simple, I received confirmation of the move prior to the move date with the correct details. On the day of the move Alex was very communicative and let me know his ETA which was within the 2 hour window scheduled. Alex and his partner arrived and were very professional, quick, and wrapped all of the furniture with care. They got to the destination in the expected amount of time and set everything up perfectly! Highly recommend and I would use Born to Move again!!
