I hired them for packing and a short move (less than 0.5mi). They came on time. The issue I had with them is the disregard for cost savings and the environment. They used way more boxes and packing supplies than needed. Sure, my plastic bowls, paper plates and brass andirons were protected from breakage, but….yeah.

Honestly, the smoothest move I have ever had, and I wasn't even on site ! Wow. They were amazing and called and sent photos to show where they put things and offered suggestions. They were awesome & I highly recommend!

Outstanding movers. Professional, polite, extremely careful, quick and efficient. I cannot say enough good things about them, from the patient and accommodating office folk to the moving men themselves. A true family business of seven decades duration, still going strong -- for a very good reason.

I can't say enough great things about Jernick Moving. First, they're a family-owned business and they handle each move themselves with their own crews instead of outsourcing to another van line. This means that they pay attention to all the details from start to finish!
I hired them to both pack the entire contents of my house, including all the stuff that seems to accumulate in the basement, and then to move me from Eastern Long Island to MA. Starting with the estimate, Richard Jernick arrived on time exactly as scheduled to go over everything. He then promptly submitted a surprisingly reasonable estimate.
The crew that came to pack my house was fantastic. They were prompt, courteous, and extremely efficient. I have the same comment for the crew that loaded the van. They were prompt, courteous and just as fantastic. They handled all my goods and furniture with care and respect. They unloaded at the other end with the same care. Everything arrived in perfect condition.
It's delightful to find a business that still cares about their reputation and cares about client satisfaction. I've no doubt that the founder, Thomas Jernick, would be very proud of his grandson for continuing this tradition. I highly recommend Jernick Moving!Read more
