What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?
Bo Ballard Moving Services is fully insured. However, any damages incurred are almost always handled in house between Bo and the customer. With the exception of catastrophic events, simply repairing or replacing small damages to the customer's satisfaction is always preferable to making an insurance claim and receiving only partial compensation.
What is the best advice you would give to customers?
Pack! The more thoroughly condensed your things are, the quicker and smoother your move will go. Don't use your time moving boxes; rather, apply your labor to packing what can be packed, and then moving or protecting what things you elect NOT to pack due to the expensive of doing so, such as lamps, pictures, etc. We don't mind moving things that are poorly packed (we're at your service!), but it will slow the move down and end up costing you more money!
