What is your insurance policy? How do you deal with damaged items?

Your insurance quotation is based on our liability of 60¢ per pound per article, INCLUDING automobiles. Full insurance coverage is available upon request. If you elect to purchase insurance, the detailed rates will be provided in the quotation. Suppose items are missing or damaged at destination. In that case, your Move Coordinator will email you the applicable forms and monitor the progress from claim filing through adjudication and settlement to ensure your complete satisfaction.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

Plan ahead. For an international move, we suggest contacting at least three moving companies at least 45 to 60 days before your anticipated moving dates. It would be best if you insisted that the companies perform a guided virtual survey of your home so that they can accurately estimate the weight of your shipment. Completing the virtual survey will help ensure you experience no unexpected costs on moving day. With Arpin, our business model is transparent, honest, and fair.

The movers are beyond helpful, careful, and friendly. They really take care of all of your belongings, and if issues arise (at the border, at your residence, etc.) they are super helpful and quick to respond.

I thank everyone from all the companies involved for all the hard work, much of it I'm not even aware of because it went so smoothly behind the lines. I cannot begin to imagine all the logistics involved in such a grand move with so many components in flux. Everyone performed their jobs flawlessly with professionalism.

Moving locally is stressful, but you can usually rely on word of mouth to find a reputable local moving company. Moving across the country is an entirely different situation. That is where Arpin comes in.

I've used Arpin to relocate from CA to GA and from GA to NV. Both times I was a private-pay customer. My representatives were friendly, incredibly responsive, and happy to answer questions over and over to address any anxiety about such a big move.

Each move included a review of the service options (I chose to have my items packed in their own crates) and an estimate of costs provided after a video walk-through of the home, and I was pleasantly surprised that my total weight was *less* than the estimate. They work with local vendors to pack your home, crate the items, transport them, and unload them. Instead of having to deal with multiple vendors, I had a single point of contact that kept me apprised every step of the way.

Relocating is incredibly stressful. I highly recommend Arpin if you are moving across the country.Read more
