Move With A Pro's customer service representative, [Name removed by Sirelo], demonstrated conduct that was wholly inappropriate for a customer-facing role. She suggested we should be charged for a delayed shipment (despite your team’s failure to deliver OR contact us for 2 days) and even THREATENED to return our possessions to Dallas. Such behavior is unprofessional, coercive, and may reasonably be construed as an attempt to hold our property hostage. Throughout our interactions, she was dismissive, repeatedly interrupted, provided misleading information, and issued threats rather than solutions.
To make matters worse, the only communication we received was a brief notification that Move With A Pro's truck had broken down on Saturday. After that, there was complete silence. For days, we had no knowledge of where our belongings were, whether they had been lost, stolen, or damaged, or if we would ever receive them. We were forced to send multiple emails and make repeated phone calls, which went unanswered. This breakdown in communication is both unreasonable and unacceptable.
Additionally, Move With A Pro's shifting and inconsistent payment terms raise serious concerns. We were initially told payment could be made by credit card, consistent with how we paid our deposit, only to later be informed that payment would be required exclusively through Zelle—and (Once again) THREATENED our belongings would not be delivered unless we complied. This unilateral change in terms is coercive, inconsistent, and appears to have been made in bad faith.
The combination of [Name removed by Sirelo]’s conduct, the complete lack of communication, and the inconsistent payment terms reflects gross negligence and unprofessionalism. I strongly urge you to review both Move With A Pro's conduct and handling of this matter, as this behavior is unacceptable.
I have proceeded with formal complaints to the U.S. Department of Transportation OIG and FMCSA and relevant consumer protection agencies. I will also be documenting this experience across public platforms (Google, Yelp, Angie’s List) and sharing it within my professional real estate network across the entire DFW area, to ensure others are aware of these practices.
What should have been resolved with a simple apology and accountability has instead escalated due to hostility, silence, and disregard for contractual obligations.
Sincerely,
