My most recent move was a nightmare, there were many issues moving things out of my house. This resulted in one of the VPs coming to my new house to talk to me. Now, I thought he’d help his crew to move the process along faster, but that wasn’t the case. He essentially talked down to me, then told me that I can either have them not do their job (so it goes faster) or deal with it - then left. What was the point of wasting gas, putting mileage on a vehicle, slowing the process of moving by having the crew stand around while we spoke? Just so he could talk to me face-to-face? Completely inefficient
Now, they damaged multiple items in my home. A workout machine that costs $3K+, a painting that was a gift, they dropped my file cabinet resulting in damaging the file cabinet and my floor, plus the cubby in my entryway
I have asked multiple times for a refund on the move and we just go our separate ways, but they insist on “fixing” my issues. This meant they sent a repairman (who did amazing but also didn’t really assist on the items he couldn’t fix) and are now trying to get replacement parts as well as asking me to take measurements so they can fix my painting, all of which drags this whole process on
It’s been 2.5 months since the move, I just want this to be done but they’re not cooperating with me at all. Oh, and I’ve had to keep checking in with them, luckily I think they got the hint as they (for the first time 2 months later) actually reached out with an update, but point being, we’re going on nearly 3 months and it STILL isn’t resolvedRead more
