Military move, so far nothing but headaches with everyone here. Not enough boxes or packing materials brought. 2 young guys took 8 hours to pack out my already packed storage unit. Then I had to wait 11 days just to recieve my final inventory sheets from the pack out (again because they didnt have enough packing). Now 21 days later and they dont have my things in place to be delivered..

If I could give them 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Don't believe any of the positive reviews. They are probably fake. Here are some details of how dishonorable and corrupt they are. They called the night before to tell me 3 guys would be coming the next day to pack our house (which was 3200 sq. ft.) I said 3 was not enough and I originally asked Bekins (who subcontracted sav on) to send 4 or 5. The next day 2 guys showed up. When I told them this wasn't enough they called the office to send more guys. Two more showed up. One of them looked like he was high on speed and other looked like they grabbed someone off the street and said, 'Hey, you want to make 50 bucks?' He smelled horrible and when I talked to the team leader about my concern, he looked concerned too and said he would make sure that guy wouldn't pack anything valuable. Seriously!! Then they all took off at 2:00 with half the job done. They made excuses why and said they would be back by 8:00 the next morning to finish up and start the moving process. I later found out it was payday and they left to get paid rather than doing the job they were hired to do. The next day they showed up at 9:30 and said there was no one in the office to let them in earlier. That entire next day was a disaster, but the topper was when we started unpacking boxes ad I saw how they packed our stuff. They used way too many boxes and way too much paper. Of course, they charged me for each box and the paper. As one example, I unwrapped a huge wad of paper and inside was a plastic Buddha statue about 4 inches high. I asked the guy packing our closet to put shoes and other closet items at the bottom of the wardrobes and he did not. When I saw him packing one of them (after he already packed 6) I asked if he was putting items at the bottoms of the wardrobes and his response was, 'No, i forgot.' Instead, my shoes and other closet items were packed in another box, which I paid for. Oh, they wrapped my slippers in a huge wad of paper. Slippers! I could go on and on about this fraudulent company. I'm going to review them on google, better business bureau, and anywhere else where people might read reviews.

And I won't forget about Bekins who hired this company to pack and move me. Stay away from Bekins too. I used them for 3 other cross country moves and they were awesome on all the others, but something has changed in that company. They were a disaster, but that's for another review.

My husband and I recently used this moving company and I’m happy to say we had a great experience. They did an excellent job and took great care of our belongings. Chance Holmes was one of the workers that helped with the move. His customer service was exceptional and he really ensured the floors, walls, and furniture were not damaged. Also as they were getting ready to leave he asked us if we were sure we didn’t want him to move any furniture in a different spot, I thought this was very nice of him. He went the extra mile and because of this I rate them a 5-Star!

Chief complaints: long-distance movers farm out their loads to others if they can't combine loads together. In our case, Blue Chip Movers was the first mover, farmed out to Savon Movers. Ours was a 600 mile in-state California move. 4 guys packed our small house in 3 hours in southern CA and 2 guys unpacked our rental in northern CA in 6.5 hours. My wife and I had to help otherwise it would have been 8 hours.
A display case was damaged, a claim was filed 10 weeks ago and we are still waiting for a resolution. We paid almost $6K, 12,000 lbs. for a really poor job. Beware....

The worst moving experience.
For reference, we are a military family, handling a move under a military contract. Our title contractor was University Van Lines which was over Mallory Moving and Storage which was over Help-U-Move.

1. Movers arrived without adequate supplies: no pens, sparse tape, and all one kind of box. No plate/glass boxes, wardrobe boxes, or book boxes, etc. Every item in our home was packed in the same (too large) box. They ran out of number tags, and combined items (think 3 rugs to one tag), and left some items unmarked, because they didn't have enough numbers. They didn't have enough boxes to box all that should have been boxes, and only wrapped (lightly) upholstered furniture. Long story short: A LOT of damage.

2. Movers refused to unload multiple pieces of furniture (cabinet, dressers) and pack into boxes. The result was that a cabinet housing $2500+ of children toys, art supplies, and home school curricula was lost along with the entire cabinet. (The claims department acknowledges the cabinet was lost, but will not pay for contents as 'furniture should not be moved with contents inside'.

3. Multiple legs, arms, handles, and railing broken off of furniture.

4. Shattered mirrors and picture frames that were simply thrown into boxes. There were no 'mirror pack' or 'tv pack' boxes.

5. Movers packed both of our tv's in regular boxes unfolded, and taped together. They marked them on inventory as 'pictures' until I corrected them on our high value form -- which they did begrudgingly.

6. With the exception of 1 or 2 of our movers, they were rude, inconsiderate, and one mover drove the first truck away before it was done being loaded because he just felt like he was done for the day.

STAY away, I am not sure where these positive reviews come from, but these movers have afforded us nothing but pain, and loss of money and sentimental items, during an already challenging move with a deployed husband. There were more problems beyond this, but hopefully, these are enough warnings to keep you away.
