I had a terrible experience with Miss Peach IV True Movers and would not recommend this company.
The move took far longer than expected. They sent one woman and one man for the job, and the process was extremely slow. It took approximately six hours to move my two-bedroom apartment, and even after all that time, the job was not completed as agreed.
The worst part happened during the unloading. Before the move was finished, I was told that if I did not pay the entire bill immediately, they would not unload my belongings. While I was discussing the situation and speaking with the company’s owner, the employee actually drove away in the moving truck with all of my belongings still inside.
I felt completely threatened and helpless. I was told that if I did not pay, they would not return to unload my things. Having someone drive away with everything you own in the middle of a payment dispute was an absolute nightmare.
Eventually, my belongings were unloaded, but they did not bring everything to the second floor as we had agreed. I paid a significant amount of money and did not receive the service I was promised.
Between the excessive amount of time, the pressure to pay before the job was completed, driving away with my belongings, and failing to complete the move according to our agreement, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had.
I strongly recommend researching other moving companies carefully, reading both positive and negative reviews, and making sure you clearly understand their payment and unloading policies before hiring anyone.
