Refused to tell me total cost. After many many emails they still refused to give me total. They wanted me to commit without knowing how much it would cost

we ended up paying 5K more because the moving manager failed to show up till tje day before, therefore we needed a bigger container. Had he showed up a month before, as promised, we could have eliminated more possessions.

we asked for storage cost way in advance, didnt get it till container already at the port
I just feel like we got screwed in the end....cost were under estimated. As soon as our container was packed, cost increased.

Good communication from the company throughout. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Very efficient packing crew. We have not yet received our belongings at the other end of our move, but everything else has been to schedule.

1. The quote was inaccurate, about $4000 lower than the actual billed price
2. The move took twice as long to pack as their estimate, this being their first excuse for the extra charge
3. They claimed they could not just their container truck at my location and needed an intermediate truck to shuttle. I explained in detail how they needed to put their truck, but they didn't listen to me, and used a shuttle truck anyway. This was their second reason for the extra cost
4. Their personnel in Manila have very poor customer service and bad responsiveness. Their slowness cost me $650 in port fees and penalties, on top of the extra 4k the US movers charged
I expect better from a professional moving company. I know international moving is difficult at best, but this was a stressful and unpleasant experience.

I don't believe that we deserve a one star review, We have packed and load 40ft container with 574 items from Tucson, AZ to Manila in the Philippines which is logistically complex and involve, port authorities, governments, shipping lines and customs. Customer had Mineral Rocks as well as some tiles and wooden floor in which we have advised him not to include those items because it will cause delay in the customs clearance. Customer insist and instructed us to load the rocks in the container.
Container arrived in Manila on November 1st. and being held by custom requesting additional documents and custom duties. This delay was not caused by us and we cannot be held responsible for any of the additional charges.
In regards to additional cost at origin, their was no tractor trailer access at storage facility which the majority of the shipment was there. Customer agreed to pay for shuttle service in the amount of $2300.00
Also 2 extra stop were added as well.
In conclusion, we do take any criticism by our customers very Seriously and will take responsibility for any wrong doing, this case in not one of them.
