The team I worked with was amazing! They answered every question I had. The move was necessitated by the passing of a loved one and the team was incredibly sensitive to that and helpful. Our items were handled with great care. The movers were friendly yet still professional. They were prompt and on time! The move took two days due to the sheer size. Despite the challenge, the crew was lighthearted and made it all easier. I absolutely recommend and will use them again in the future!

I have not used this company to move my belongings, but they did manage to damage my parked vehicle when moving other's belongings.
I am unable to reply to their response so I will update here. It is a response I would expect from a company marred by accusations of dishonesty. As I witnessed firsthand their vehicle in contact with mine, I at no point 'affirmed (their) findings.' Their vehicle's paint is currently on my bumper and I welcome any contact by their attorneys.

Pickens Kane has provided us with peace of mind and a sense of security on 3 of our most recent moves. I can’t exaggerate the feeling of confidence knowing that the physical move is being coordinated by a company that is reputable, trustworthy, and empathetic. Moving is stressful enough on its own, and working with a company like PK can help set your mind at ease so you can focus on other details. There are a LOT of scammers and fake companies out there who will try to gouge you and nickel and dime you. I can promise you that PK is not one of those companies and you will be 100% satisfied with their service!

I recently went with Pickens Kane for a long distance move in Sept. out of Chicago and overall had a good experience. I felt as though the movers handled my items with care and did a thorough job packing them up tightly and neatly, and given that, on the other side of the move none of my items were broken. Jennifer and Kathy were my contacts over at Pickens Kane and were great to work with and communicative and transparent throughout the process. The pricing was based on the number of items/furniture and I thought it was reasonable.
