Laser International has full replacement insurance options available to our clients. In the unlikely event of damage, the claims process is done online and is very easy to file.

What is the best advice you would give to customers?

Ask lots of questions, read independents reviews and narrow down your search to 2 or 3 companies. Request a free survey from those companies to verify the size of your shipment and determine associated costs. Then, select the company you feel most comfortable with based on service, price and overall value.

Moving is stressful especially if the move is overseas. We looked at several international moving companies and decided to go with Laser International Worldwide Moving. They are not cheap; in fact, Laser is the most expensive. BUT every dime is worth it. As the saying goes: “You get what you pay for”. Doug Korte was our point of contact from the word go. We did not experience being transferred from one person to another. Doug was very knowledgeable with the laws of the destined overseas country that made our shipment pass through customs and quarantine with out any hiccup. Doug facilitated smooth communication with their local movers/packers and with their overseas counterparts; thus, removing the stress of the time difference between two countries. This is a door-to-door shipment. Our goods arrived intact at the destination. No box was damaged or opened. Laser’s slogan of: Delivering Peace of Mind” is so TRUE. If you ever need to move goods internationally, make sure that it does not simply deliver your goods, but it delivers your peace of mind in the entire process. We moved from the US to Europe this winter. I spoke with many moving companies and ultimately chose Laser International. From the start, the communication was often and always timely. Their pricing was fair and competitive. A special shout out to Rich! He gave us a realistic timeline, explained in detail everything that would happen and when, and answered every call or email within hours. On the US side, the moving company Laser uses for New England, was professional, and packed up our belongings with care. Their European partner, Gosselin Moving picked up when our belongings left the container ship in Rotterdam. We felt their professionalism and communication was fantastic. Thank you Angelique! The movers that ultimately delivered our belongings were careful, and easy to work with. Everything made it without a scratch/no broken items! I recommend Laser International and Gosselin Moving highly!

Our adventure to move to Italy from Benicia, California started back in May of 2025. After contacting several worldwide moving companies. I selected Laser International because of the professional layout of their website with so much useful information. After sending an email to Mike Brotsch, he replied to me within minutes with very concise information, no pressure but good information on a process that we had no clue about. To be fair we we had to drag out the process because our builders kept changing the dates. Mike was understanding and patient. Once we finally gave him dates he wasted no time in setting up a video call to walk us through their process. Very professional and reassured us we made the right decision. His local team came and did and amazing job of packing up our items for shipment and to prepare them for customs. Mike was amazing at navigating us through the forms for insurance, customs etc. The coordination with his European partners was like a delicate dance. PERFECT orchestration! They communicated the European side of the process in unison with Mike. The team used the same care on consideration delivering, unpacking and caring for our shipment. Moving internationally is a huge life change, and trusting a company with all your belongings is not easy. From the very beginning, Laser International was honest, transparent, and clear with us, which immediately gave us peace of mind.
Our move from Vermont, USA to Aarhus, Denmark went incredibly smoothly. Everything arrived on time, in perfect condition, and with so much care. Nothing was damaged, and the entire process felt well organized and thoughtfully handled.
What stood out the most was the communication. We always felt informed, supported, and reassured, which made a world of difference during such a stressful moment. Knowing that our belongings were in good hands allowed us to focus on starting this new chapter of our lives.

I used Laser in July to move from the US to the UK. This was my second international relocation (previously moving to the US from AU), and using Laser was by far superior to the (very large, well known) company I had used before. Dustin, at Laser, was amazing. He was so communicative and accommodating. He helped with every step. We organised everything only 3 weeks before our move and nothing seemed to be a problem. All of our belongings even arrived so much sooner than expected. I can't recommend Laser (or Dustin) enough - they were exceptional.

We had a long and very successful journey with Laser International. We started discussions with Peter from Laser in February '22 and each step of the way we found him to be knowledgeable, easy going and very patient with all our questions! We planned out the move from Miami, FL to Porto, Portugal in great detail - video surveys, lists of items, etc. Over the course of our planning, things changed - we sold, donated or gave some of the larger items to family, and kept changing the arrival date. Peter flexed along with us - providing adjusted quotes and coming up with options to save us $$. We ended up routing the items via Belgium in a shared container vs the full container we originally planned for. When we arrived in Porto, and saw how small our rental apartment was, we realized we couldn't have the items delivered there, so we frantically made arrangements to store the goods in Belgium until we bought a home. Well, we just had the items delivered and so far everything looks good. The teams in Miami and in Porto handled the packing and unpacking perfectly. They were very respectful of the property and managed even the bigger pieces with ease (and some creativity :). We highly recommend Laser International if you are considering an overseas move.
